New Law Gives Minnesotans Greater Access to Acupuncture

Connecticut Governor Rell Signs Acupuncture Bill

On May 8, 2009 Connecticut Governor Jodi Rell signed into law Public Act 09-21-  "An Act Concerning the Practice of Acupuncture".  The law provides a title protection to Connecticut’s licensed acupuncturists.

Acupuncture Practice Act for Mississippi

Governor Haley Barbour signed HB 458, the Acupuncture Practice Act into law yesterday! This is the first law regulating the practice of acupuncture in MS. The new law takes effect on July 1, 2009. Congratulations to all who worked to hard to pass this bill, in particular, Jerusha De Groote, Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM), Dipl. C.H. (NCCAOM) who worked tirelessly so that the citizens of MS could have access to this wonderful medicine.
